Hi from Fremantle in Western Australia, I'm trying to find the origin of the song 'Water is wide' and hopefully the lyric writer. Just recently I found the lyrics at Mudcat after listening to the song by Indigo Girls/Jewel/Sarah MacLachlan on a CD 'Lilith Fair' Hope someone can help, the lyrics are so beautiful. Gerry
