Email from R yesterday: "Well, today i took the immigrant Congolese parents home via 3810 top floor and offered them various furniture items if they would like them. I expected an "either" this - or "maybe this" - but it was like a feeding frenzy occurred and they wanted everything I offered. Now they have two new sofas, two big easy chairs, a recliner chair, two armchairs, a rocking chair, a round table with four rolling chairs, a side table, a microwave, a bicycle, a scooter, and happy kids! I delivered it all to Lasalle in two trips and helped them move it all inside their basement apartment." A great way to de-clutter a bunch of stuff, unneeded but too good to throw out, and helped out the new immigrants! So glad that R is de-cluttering! It helps his state of mind, and mine as well.
