Any of the analog to digital work takes a while because the originals have to play in real time. I'm not there yet as far as my LPs, but I did all of my Dad's LPs (to cassette tape, at the time) many years ago.

I tend to try vinegar for things - Windex probably has ammonia, so you're looking at acid vs alkaline. But using ammonia certainly is cheaper and a different strength than what is in Windex (a derivative product that is going to cost a lot more and have less punch).

Dorothy, are you finished at the mill, or do you still have stuff over there also?

Fighting with the bank, Wells Fargo didn't complete one transfer I set into motion on Sept 30 and today charged an overdraft fee because of their failure to complete my transfer. I didn't print the confirmation number, but perhaps I can browbeat them later. ;-) I have one last set of automatic withdrawals happening any minute now; once they register I'll call my public radio folks and change the bank they get that from, and then be ready to abandon Wells Fucking Fargo. Good riddance!
