As for our pack rat syndrome: If one has the space and can keep it organized... A friend and I bought a new pick up truck 0n 1973. Thanks to my backing into a tree and then a telephone pole, the tailgate fell off. It was not needed due to our plywood camper - which was why I backed into things! So Tom put it in his workshop where it sat for YEARS! Contrary to usual behaviour, he finally put it in the trash; the truck was long gone. A week later, I kid you not, Jerry came by and wondered if he could have it for a truck he just bought. SO, being a pack rat....

After getting that good lot of pots done on Saturday,   I seem to have come to a screeching halt. Lack of space, lack of energy, surfeit of rain. The pots are now in the kiln room, still drying an now the temp is dropping and I am going to spend the night hoping the space stays above freezing; I put the outdoor part of thermometer in there.

That special outlet only works, it says, with that special receptacle (GFI) and there is only one in the Bathroom. We need to upgrade the electric a great deal. Maybe next summer...

Anyhow, I have not gotten much done and go to Quebec tomorrow for a few days. My brain needs to work out logistics re pottery. It's tired too.
