The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles no longer accepts cash for driver's licenses and such. Payments must be made by check, money order, or credit/debit card. But they still charge a $1.00 convenience charge if you pay by any of those means. The only way to avoid the convenience charge is to pay by cash... which they no longer accept.
