Message this morning that John is looking at things through one eye. They suspect that he has double vision so is only using the one eye. He is able to coordinate movements of his hands to some extent as he was feeling one hand with the other to explore what was attached to it.
He is able to understand what is being said to him, looking in the directions he is asked to, and things are looking a bit brighter.
