Well naturally all manner of crap gets on to notes and coins in circulation. And that's what we all have to live with if we want to commune with fellow humans. And where did I read that 60% of Morrisons supermarket trolleys have got human shite on the handles. But deliberately making a note with animal fat IN it, as opposed to the muck that inveitably gets ON it, is not the same thing, folks.

Now a very peculiar thing happened just now. I'm sitting in the hospital car park in Barnstaple. A few minutes ago I interrupted typing this post to go and pay the car park machine. As I got out of the car, there on the ground was a 1967 USSR one rouble coin, Lenin on the back, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Revolution. It's in good nick too. I've just cleaned it up with a spec wipe. What am I bid! 😂
