I don't think I'd enjoy 'child-free' holidays. We like to see the children, and indeed all ages, around us.
One of my friends lives in a 'retirement apartment' and it's terribly depressing visiting her there. Zimmer frames everywhere, and all they talk about is who's died or about to!
