The thing that gets me about North Carolina is the weather forecast. Those lovely maps that show precipitation coded according to color. The green color means rain; what is it for snow? Gray or something? but North Carolina, all too often, is PINK which means freezing rain, ice, and sleet....you are welcome to it. Is it because of the mountains and the coast being so near each other?
