I'm wondering how far back we can trace the "arky-arky" verses, and whether or not we concur with the attribution to Peter Anders Svensson & Magnus Sveningsson. Now, I found a musician named Anders Peter Svensson - born in 1974, so that's not the guy. My sister brought the song home from Girl Scout Camp in about 1968 or something, and it was well-known by kids in the 1960s. I suppose it's quite possible the song came off a children's record at the time.
Any print sources earlier than the 1973 Folksinger's Wordbook?

Oh, I like this: dbopm :: the database of popular music shows 3 songs published in Sweden in 1995: I think that means we can safely discredit the Svensson attribution.....
I made the change in Wikipedia. Hope they accept it.
Here's a link to "Rise and Shine," by Svensson's group, the Cardigans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sp1A20VCok
