I turned the water off and drained the lines. Never had a cold ass and warm beer before but I set the beer on the kitchen cupboard so it will chill in no time. I expect power by tomorrow morning... hopefully. The generator at Mum's is great. Got 14 hours out of 7/8 of a tank. Of course, with the temperature only down to -2C and moderate wind until the wee hours, it's about "right". Only thing of bother is sleeping in a house that's too warm but it beats the alternative. COME ON LOOTO 6/49!
