Exxon leases land to drill for oil here and there at about a million square miles at a time. In the US they lease 14 million square miles to drill.

But in Russia they lease the most. Sixty four Million square miles.
The sanction against Russia over the Ukraine mess prevents Exxon from drilling in Russia. This was Rex Tillerman's job at Exxon to lease and drill in Russia.

As the Secretary of State Tillerman would love to kill the sanctions and open up drilling in Russia.

It is my early guess that Trump will make killing the Russian sanctions a priority. Will Donald get payback payments from Russia or Exxon? I dunno. Is he being extorted? I dunno. If I did know I would not be long for this world. Putin wants his cut.

So my prediction is... A big win for Russia.


A similar scheme involves another cabinet member Carl Ichan regarding the biggest gold mine in the world in Indonesia in which Carl is the biggest share holder. But that is another story. Would Trump get a cut? I dunno.

But we don't hear much about this do we? We are being distracted.
