Just given up on Spotify, not only does it want personal information to sign up, but even when I gave it this it claims my Flash player is not up to date.

Jim is it my dropbox downloads which give you the network errors? Not sure why, unless there is some firewall issue at your end. I will try tomorrow to download them to a public computer I have access to, and see if there is a problem there.
