I forgot to say that I love biplanes. I don't know why. There are two airfields about 20 miles from where I live which are dedicated to old aircraft, including biplanes. I always recognise the sound of a biplane as it flies overhead and rush outside to catch a glimpse.

A few years ago, for my 57th birthday my hubby organised a joy flight in a biplane. "Joy flight" is the correct name for it, believe me! It gives me a sense of joy every time I think about flying in the biplane at sunrise over the green hills of our local valley.
