I've simply asked some challenging questions in order to elicit corroboration for an assertion made by bobad. What he says may well be right. But I want to know how that conclusion was reached. So far we haven't got information from anything like "most of the western world," the numbers given from the US are peculiarly low to say the least considering the size of the country and the nature of the alleged crimes and how many of them were prosecuted hasn't been revealed. A hate crime could be anything from murdering a Jew at random in a subway to calling a Jew "yid!" across a crowded bus. Just over a thousand unspecified crimes in the US over a year is hardly convincing evidence in itself of a major problem. If we've now been given the best stats available, as you allege, then all I can say is that they fall well short of confirming the original assertion about "most of the western world."
