We emerged from a really nasty cold spell--down to 45F. But now, the Equinox is upon us, in just a few more hours, and our chilly days will be past.

I drove with Dani twenty miles into the country north of here to a beautiful brick and timber chapel up on a hill where we heard a Women's Song choir sing sweetly and recite poems. It was just exhilarating, I am here to say. The uplifting beauty of their songs completely transcended my curmudgeonly cynicism about their metaphysics.

It's been a grand quiet Sunday here in the rolling green country of North Carolina about which I aim to learn more as time goes by.
