This was coined by the columnist "Feedback" in the New Scientist to describe the tendency of people with certain names to gravitate toward careers that make us smile. Wiki on Nominative Determinism citing the progenitor of the genre - a paper on incontinence by A J Splatt and D Weedon**. Or even Sigmund Freud who studied pleasure (German for joy). The Wiki is quite serious in its explanation.

Found recently - the owner of a company in my town called Mobiloo (a mobile loo/changing room designed for wheelchair users etc in a van) has the name Philip Douch.
A very laudable enterprise, staffed by volunteers.
