So I like my chickens fryin' size when I get my skillet hot.

2. Well, I like my chickens fryin' size, an' I betcha that you'll agree
That a purty little pullet flyin' by sure looks heavenly.
From the day that I was born
Till Gabri'l blows his horn,
If I don't like my chickens fryin' size, then roastin' ears ain't corn.

3. Well, I like my chickens fryin' size just when they're good an' grown.
I know it would be oh-so nice to have a chicken all my own,
So I'll resist as long as I can,
Not to steal from another man,
But I must have chickens fryin' size when I put 'em in the fryin' pan.
