Stan at the Carden Street Cafe in Guelph, Ontario, during a break, chatting and describing a meal he'd prepared.

God, the man could tell a story so well - by the time he'd finished, I could swear I'd eaten the meal, and I was full!

Funny how things like that go into the memory palace, eh?

I still miss him, and I'm still angry at his senseless death.
