Lyrics are almost identical in the Rise Up Singing Songbook, page 239:

FRIENDS FOREVER
(John W. Carter, 1985)

It's a jigsaw puzzle world with walls and borders,
Broken lines on maps of men.
But the world is just one place, and all the strangers on its face
Belong to God — who calls us to be friends.

CHORUS
And we are friends forever, we are friends forever,
and our work on earth is just began.
Through the pain and pleasure we will stand together,
We are friends forever, we are one."

All the barbwire in the world cannot divide us;
Only fear can build a fence.
So a spirit that can reach across the fence around us each
Is sent from God, so we can live as friends.

It's a simple faith that binds us all together
With a love that never ends.
And together we will join our hands and reach around the world,
We are the Lord's, and we shall live as friends.

Anybody know where I could find music notation and/or a recording for this song?
Couldn't find it in Worship in Song, but there's supposed to be a songbook published by Friends United Press.
