Patterson (Val Kilmer in the movie)wrote about his experience in Tsavo. An excerpt from his book is available from the Field Museum in Chicago, which houses mounts of the title characters in "The Ghost And The Darkness". Love the movie, but Pattersons written account is wierder and creepier, being devoid of Hollywood embellishment. Robert Stack's 3-D epic, "B'wana Devil" also deals with Patterson's experience at Tsavo, but is a terrible movie.
