Many of you will know of the Sam Smiths pub, the Plough, in Whitby which was for years the central focus of the fringe part of Whitby Folk Festival.

Some years ago Humphrey Smith who owns the brewery banned all forms of music, television etc from his pubs.

The news today tells that he has now banned swearing and Bikers from his pubs!
