"Grass strip". The grass trip upon which planes land here is 47mm wide and 23mm long. It's so big because during WW2 what's now the airport was used as a training base for bomber pilots. Some of their bombs still lay amongst the beautiful peaks and sagebrush, waiting for a wandering wanderer to come whistling "The Happy Wanderer" just prior to the bomb finally detonating. Sometimes they don't even wait but decide that 72 years or more is long enough to wait. Fortunately these 227kg (and more) are way, way, up in hills or way, way, out in the desert on the grounds of the Idaho National Laboratory, or on the Ft. Hall Indian Reservation (just one has ever been found and that was deactivated in short order).
