You'd think that for once, the President could rise above politics and give a speech that would be inspiring to the kids, so they could remember for the rest of their lives that they saw the President of the United States.

Trump should be ashamed for spewing his usual buffoonery on the Boy Scouts - and the Boy Scouts should be ashamed for inviting him to do this.

I was registered in the Scouts as a youth and as a leader for about thirty years. In the 1990s, the Scouts began to look like a wing of the Republican Party, and I got out.
