here is (copied) my attempt at step-by-step

to make a blue clicky thing:

type a left angle bracket <, then type a href=,

then type,(or better, paste) the address you want folks to go to as in: http://www.mudcat.org/

then type a right angle bracket >

then type the words you want folks to READ..this can be the address again, or a descriptive phrase....

then type another LEFT angle bracket <, and back slash /, to indicate the expression is finished, then a last right angle bracket >

this ends up looking like this [a href=http://www.mudcat.org/]GO HERE[/a], but with < & > instead of [ & ]...
