Mudcat succeeds yet again! Joanne Spence's granddaughter has contacted me and I expect to be in touch with Joanne soon. It's been over a ten year search.

I'm astounded at the power of the internet, and Mudcat in particular. I think this connection with the Spence family makes about eight "long lost" friends that have contacted me. WHEW!
