I knew Rick when he lived with my brother in Gainesville Florida back in the early 80's. Rick and I had some great times. I would sit in my brothers house and listen to the guys jam. Since I practiced martial arts Rick said that I would be his security when he hit the road again. My time around him was short but man it was intense. My favorite of his songs was Sparks in the Dark.
