We are in Playa San Juan as usual, just several km north of Alicante, mainly frequented by Spanish, and thankfully bypassed by the Benidorm hordes!!! We spoke to an Icelandic couple who find the temperature here "slightly" warmer than their typical 7-10C during summer!

I took my wife for a 2km spin in her hired wheelchair last night - a first for me and very exhausting in a humid 29C, but the beach promenade area put the roving eye on afterburn!!
