As for side irons, we Canucks don't use them. Against the law. I personally don't like that law but I understand it. It was enacted in 1933 and it really doesn't fit "today's situation" but you have to understand the British Parliamentary system (which we have in Canada). That system works like this... don't change any laws unless they are more restrictive no matter if the laws are stunnedasmearse*.

Now. Regarding a side arm that can break your wrist and make you deaf... if it saves you from being eaten, well... BANG!

*Unless big companies can make $$$ and give kickbacks to your political party and you. Hence... recreational weed. The assholes. (I LIKE medical weed... don't want recreational weed.)
