Subject: RE: Obit: Tom Petty (1950-2017)
Like Pete Jennings said, "Only 66 and so great."
It makes me wonder how common it is too have the kind of massive heart attack that Tom had? I wonder if Tom had existing health issues but he was touring just very recently and probably wouldn't have been touring if he had been in bad health.

So I can't help but thinking how common it is to just have a massive heart attack or if there are usually other underlying health issues that can bring this sudden attack on? Especially at 66 years old. I mean not young but not really that old either. I can understand if someone is much older then that or is in bad health but Tom seemed to be doing fine in recent months with touring. Sure I know touring can be difficult for anyone - usually not much sleep, and all involved with a big tour, etc. but still wonder if there are usually underlying health issues that can cause a sudden attack. (like the type that Tom had - Massive.) There are heart attacks that many people survive. Sadly Tom didn't survive his even though rushed to the hospital from his home very fast.
