Subject: Lyr Req: Carter and Evie were wed on the day...
I came across some lyrics today that I wish I'd written but know I did not. It is part of a song. I'd like to know the rest of the lyrics and who wrote/recorded it. Here's what I've got:

Carter and Evie were wed on the day
That my Aunt Louisa was buried in clay
One white lace wedding, one black limousine
Two danced till sunrise, one ceased to be
Weddings and funerals and life in between...

My aunt Louisa, pretty as sin
Piercing black eyes, fairest of skin
Won Carter Chapman's hand and his heart
And swore there was nothing could tear them apart
She swore nothing earthly could tear them apart

Flaxen haired Evie rode into our town
On a fine Morgan horse and turned hearts upside down
Quick with a smile this angel on earth
Was artist, a painter....
