Hi all,

I am trying to find the lyrics to a half forgotten song, which I believe to have been a favorite on BBC Radio's My Music. It was the sort of song that Denis Norden would have sung. It fairly short, and all I can remember is the first line, 'He was more like a friend than a husband to me', the middle part about the husband never complaining, then there's some clever word play before the song ends with the final line ' ....treated me more like a friend'

Extensive Google searches have turned up nothing.

Can anyone help?
