In Laurence van der Post's 'A story like the wind' the young protagonist calls his dog 'Hintza' and uses the Bushman language to train him. Unfortunately the Bushman for 'run forward' was 'tza' and when the lad called the dog on one occasion it ran off a cliff.

Must be true coz it is in a book :-)
