My people!

On this Christmas Day, We proclaim a holiday. We do, in fact, proclaim every day from now until the middle of January a holiday! Do not, however, attempt to miss work or otherwise alleviate from your existence that which is needful to keep Our Empire enjoying its full economic potential.

We also promise here that there will be no increase in contributions to Our treasury during that time!

We do not, by this proclamation, exclude any religion or non-religion whatsoever, save only those that injury on of Our subjects. All can participate in these holidays!
