While there was no name on the return address, and no card within the package, the exquisite craftsmanship of the lovely crocheted shawl leads me to conclude that my Santa was none other than the wise, warm and wonderful Jacqui Morse. That, and the discerning (not to say sneaky) discovery of a book I had been longing for and had put on my Amazon wish list in the faint fond hope that a family member would notice it (Alice Starmore's Book of Fair Isle Knitting!!). As a member of my beloved Mudcat family, Jacqui (I assume it was you, Jacqui?) came through.
