I did find two examples of broadsides of this song lyric. Unfortunately the broadsides themselves were not dated. So it appears "first half of the 19th century" may be the best I can get.

I was thinking that there may have been earlier versions of this song, pre-dating the Daniel O'Connell reference (who died in 1847).
