It's a bit dangerous to try and advise a mother on infant nutrition unless one is a qualified nutritionist or someone with training in the appropriate field.
Adults may eat whatever they like and will probably get by, but a young infant is growing and developing, has a more delicate digestive tract and his/her needs are different (and very important).
