It's a regimen developed for asthmatics; five daily doses of 40 mg in pill form, then go to the low-dose steroid from the inhaler. It's far less hassle, it gets great results, and the side-effects are over in a week. And if the Prednisone won't get the job done, you find out much faster so you can try something else.
