is that the very folks who may most need to read 'irony emojis'
in order to comprehend the varied nuances of expression being communicated to them,
may possibly be the folks most likely to haughtily disdain them as 'too childish'...???

.. Folks who bluster pedantically in forums, as they persist in misunderstanding and taking unintended offence...

Which is why Emoticons exist, and should be carefully selected, for that good reason...

Guess which emoji I'd now choose as most appropriate...!!!!???


Yes, Jane Austen, Joseph Conrad, and others never required emoticons,
but they usually had several hundred pages to express their ideas,
not a limited number of hastily written words in internet discussions...
