Ok, Challis,

Time to own up...we woz there. Yep pretty ghastly finale, but in ever such slight mitigation the 'rehearsal' comprised about 1/3 the number who eventually sang.... anyway, you had to be there really:-) But it was a great night for bums like us who never really get to mix with the 'Folkerazzi' let alone spend the night in London. The atmosphere was really friendly and considering the stature of some of the stars, totally lacking in pretension (unless you're not a supporter of this kind of thing, in which case that's just what it is...I disagree however). Anyway, for an 86 year old to receive the recognition Bob did will go down in the Copper Family book of wonderful events.

Oh yes Garry, you were discussed with some admiration!
