I've always wondered, just how does one contract a fungal infection of the toenails? Swimming pools? Gym showers? I used to frequent both (many years ago) and fortunately for me escaped getting an infection.

My husband got athlete's foot (again, years ago!) when he played football around various Norfolk clubs and used their showers, but that was easily dealt with by Mycil powder.
