I have been in a pub in Dumfries and Galloway when there was an 'old firm' match on. That was quite hairy as well but what amazed me is that as soon as the match was over, those supporting Celtic (It was primarily a Rangers pub) were welcomed back into the fold with no acrimony on either side. During the game they were at each others throats but when the final whistle blew, they were buying each other drinks. Nice to see really.
