As an example, there is a pub in the town where I live in Ireland where the landlord, to my mind, can only be described as an ill mannered, brutish thug. I have witnessed him being very violent to seemingly innocence drinkers, literally throwing them through doors without opening them. I would never recommend the bar to anyone, nor would a majority of the locals.

However on Tripadvisor, despite 10% of the reviews echoing my sentiments, there are a good number of glowing reports of how good and kind he was.

So, who you believe, me or the other people?
