7:30-9:15 tonight on BBC 4. Proms concert featuring Hungarian folk music. The blurb says;

Hungary's folk rhythms beat through the heart of this concert as the inimitable forces of the Budapest Festival Orchestra and founder-conductor Ivan Fischer return to the Proms with an ode to their homeland. Joining them on stage is a thrilling trio of the country's best folk musicians and together they showcase why these tunes have been such a rich source of inspiration to composers across history. Here, London's Royal Albert Hall resounds with a selection of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies and Brahms' Hungarian Dances as never heard before, and concludes with Brahms' dramatic First Symphony. Presented by Lloyd Coleman.

How will this compare with the UK Folk Prom?
