Today for the first time
I noticed that one maple tree
is furtively sporting some of those intense dark red leaves
in the midst of a full green foliage.

The summer stayed so hot for so long, and humid as well,
that signs of autumn are doubly welcome here.

The nights are now cooling down, so that will help bring in
the autumn colors on the trees.
