In the Hoosier Hot Shots’ studio recording, they sing this couplet, which isn’t in the above transcription:

Otto Zilch, he’s the idol of the nation.
He’ll be called to the Senate for investigation.

In this “Soundie” they sing this introductory verse:

Hip hooray! Hip hooray!
say, there’s a great man here with us today.
though his back is bowed and his legs are bent,
why he broke all records wherever he went.

And later they sing this verse:

From the wheresis to the whatsis in his whosis?
Well now, we forgot his name, so excuse us,
But his uncle is a barber who shampoos us.
'Twas a very very daring thing to do.
