I had a similar situation to Don's with my kid "speaking her mind" at a grocery store. We were behind an unusually large woman when my daughter said, "Dad, that lady has a big butt...." I thought the worst was over but when the woman turned around to see if it was her that Mandy was talking about, Mandy said while pointing, "Well, she does!!!!"

Maybe, embarrassing things your kids have done is a thread all its own.....
