I think the plural of 'der Schornstein' might be 'die Schornsteine' Donuel.

Very sad poem.

My sister has visited Auschwitz with her daughter (a student at the time) and they both cried like anything. The atmosphere was overwhelming. I know I couldn't bear to go there, it would be far too painful.
