not sure if most folks know the ins and outs of "day" trading ... there is not a system to beat ... it requires a lot of patience and watching trends or to concentrate on a company or a sector and decide (sometimes in a second or so) when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em so to speak. of course nothing is 100% and i am not in it to make a living ... in 2018 my gains are 71% and my losses are 29% of a pinch over 21K and my time spent fewer than 100 hours or about 2 a week. of course i read the WSJ and Barrons and try to stay current on the markets. skeptics are NOT encouraged to jump in.
