I ought to care how many inches of snow fell last night.
I find that I don't.

It's easier to just brush and scrape it off the darned parked car in the lot,
and then get the heck outta there
so the lot can be plowed. Which I managed to do.

It's the heavy sticky kind of snow
which the Weather Channel's Jim Cantore calls
"white mud."

What a lovely visual scene it is, here, if you are so fortunate
that you don't have to get out and
move about in the stuff.
You can't tell, by looking out the window,
that it's the heavy wet type of snow.

All the bare trees are adorned with white as though
they had been covered in cotton wool,
it's pretty enough for a picture.
